24th Annual Spelling Bee Benefiting Literacy Council Friday

The 24th Annual Corporate Spelling Bee and Silent Auction is Friday 6 PM, at the Silvermoon on Broad in downtown Texarkana.

This event benefits the Literacy Council of Bowie and Miller Counties. The 24 Annual Corporate Spelling Bee combines community philanthropy with corporate team building.

In the spelling bee, there will be14 three-member teams with one alternate spelling team that will compete against each other in rounds that get progressively more difficult.

In the only one team remains standing, and that team will have the bragging rights as the winner of this great annual event. The teams will also compete in the best-looking team and overall team spirit.

There will also be a drawdown and of course the popular silent auction that will take place with the annual corporate spelling bee.  The drawdown will have a $5,000 cash payout on the line to the winning ticket. Texas Roadhouse is graciously providing dinner for this great event. All attendees will also have great adult beverages available to them as well,
